John 16:32-33
32 "Behold, the hour is coming, indeed it has come, when you will be scattered, each to his own home, and will leave me alone. Yet I am not alone, for the Father is with me. 33 I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”

Jesus knows we feel alone. But He knows we are not alone.
Jesus wants us to have peace.
Jesus knows we have tribulation; He knows life can be incredibly difficult, and He knows the heartache we experience. He knows how the world can break us down.
But He has overcome the world.
He's promised victory at the end of these battles.
He's promised a day of peace that we don't have to battle for.
A day when "many nations shall come, and say:
“Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord,
to the house of the God of Jacob,
that he may teach us his ways
and that we may walk in his paths.”" (read Micah 4:1-5)
I'm praying for a permanent faith to trust the God of these truths and promises ~ I want to trust Him with every ounce of me today, tomorrow, and every day of the rest of my life.
I want to trust that He can help me work hard in these dull days of highschool; I want to trust that He can save the ones whom I love who don't know His redemptive love & grace; I want to trust that He is shaping me into a woman after His own heart.

He's worthy of every ounce of me. He's worthy of my trust. I just need the grace it takes to take a step of faith.
