...and straight on till morning.
that's how you get to Neverland. where you never grow up.
flying to Neverland with Peter Pan would be pretty nice right now, i think.
i guess growing up is just getting kinda monotonous.
i'm getting surgery soon. january 3rd. {click for details on why.} i don't know what it's gonna be like. i've never even broken a bone; i don't really know what a lot of physical pain feels like. i don't know what it's gonna be like to be on heavy-duty pain killers. i don't know how soon i'm gonna be able to focus; don't know how soon i'm gonna be able to sit at a piano. i know it's God's plan for me, though, to undergo it. so be it.
before surgery, though, there are a few things going on. college auditions, for one. every note of every scale is a song of praise to God. that's the attitude He's given me; i'm grateful. finishing the semester is another thing. doesn't mean too much; psychology class will end but that's about all. i'll be sad about that; i love pscyh. Christmas is another thing... now *that's* something i'm excited for :) I love the holiday season.
thankful for cozy clothes. thankful for seeing a close friend for the first time in three months. thankful for green tea with pomegranate and little boys who want to take sips of it. thankful for a coffee date with a Mama who's strong and faithful to remind me of truth. thankful for siblings who make me laugh to no end. thankful for early bedtimes. thankful that life is relatively stress-free. thankful for God's grace that's carried me all my life. the end.
